Types of Cambridge International Scholarships
Cambridge International Scholarships are available in various forms to support international students:
- Cambridge Trust Scholarships: These scholarships are awarded to outstanding international students to cover tuition fees and living costs.
- Vice-Chancellor’s Awards: These awards are designed for students from the UK and Ireland, covering tuition fees at the domestic rate and helping ensure that financial barriers do not hinder their academic goals.
- Cambridge International Scholarships: Reserved for International Students
Cambridge International Scholarships are generally reserved for international students from countries outside the UK and Ireland. Students enrolled in Cambridge through this program are often accepted from top universities around the world, including universities in France, Germany, China, and the United States.
For UK and Irish students, financial assistance is often provided in the form of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award, which is geared toward domestic students who pay tuition fees at the national rate.
Selection Criteria

Application Process

- Choose Your Course and College: Start by reviewing Cambridge’s annual list of postgraduate courses to find available PhD programs. All admitted students are also placed in one of the 31 Cambridge colleges, each offering academic and social support.

Submit Your Application
Complete the online application form, indicating your interest in scholarships in the “Funding” section. For the 2025-26 academic year, applications should be submitted by either December 3, 2024, or January 7, 2025, depending on your chosen program.
