The Life Actuary role focuses on actuarial methodologies and economic profitability analysis within AXA’s life insurance segment.
Life Actuary (F/M)
Responsibilities
- Develop pricing models for individual and group life insurance policies.
- Draft technical notes and specifications for product development, ensuring pre-launch testing validation.
- Prepare Product Approval Process (PAP) reports to facilitate product launches or reviews.
- Estimate economic profitability (NBV, VIF, ECR) following group directives.
- Analyze profitability of life products based on loss ratios and Cor indicators.
- Manage and analyze databases to improve product insights.
- Monitor life insurance activities by creating performance indicators and dashboards.
- Design simulation tools for pensions, capital, and mixed exits.
- Address technical aspects of customer complaints.
- Contribute to cross-functional tasks and serve as a backup resource.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in actuarial methodologies for life insurance.
- Advanced skills in Excel, VBA, and SAS.
- Deep understanding of life insurance taxation.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Responsiveness and independence.
- Fluency in English and French (both written and spoken).
Desired Profile
- Engineering degree in Actuarial Finance.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Monitoring and Management Officer (F/M)
The Monitoring and Management Officer plays a crucial role in supporting business intelligence tools, monitoring sales performance, and providing strategic insights. This position is central to AXA’s data-driven strategy and competitiveness in the market.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to dashboard development and ensure data availability.
- Assist in designing business intelligence tools for sales and performance management.
- Segment business activities accurately for detailed analysis.
- Participate in diagnosing and forecasting commercial development plans.
- Ensure continuous competitive monitoring and analyze market share by business line.
- Prepare group reports and implement regular reporting standards.
- Conduct modeling and simulations to predict trends and outcomes.
- Consolidate and validate official statistics while ensuring data quality control.
