Eligibility Criteria
  • Career Break of at least Two Years: Applicants must have taken a break from their career for at least two years for personal reasons, such as family responsibilities or health issues.
  • Relevant Academic Background: Applicants must hold a degree in science or engineering and have appropriate professional experience.
  • Research Fellowship: For those applying in experimental or theoretical physics, a Ph.D. is required, and postdoctoral experience should not exceed six years.
  • CERN User Status: Applicants registered as users at CERN may need to explain how their status aligns with the program's requirements.
  • Not Open to Current CERN Employees: Current CERN employees are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
